Hudson and Brand: Inquiry Agents of the Obscure is the first in our ‘Safe House’ series where players of the Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game (published by Chaosium, Inc), have a home-base for their characters to work out of. At hand, they will have resources, a gun range, a collection of monographs on various subjects, a small library, three members of staff, and property consisting of offices and lodgings in the very heart of London.

The main book (standard version) is complete. We're going through it over the next month picking out errors, finalising layout, and adding the extra sections to those editions that need it.
I'll keep you up to date.
The two title pages for the sections on Spirits and the Immortals are finished. These two covers will grace the brief chapbooks that will be listed on DriveThruRPG and will be free in PDF format for backers. Print versions will come later and will carry a nominal charge for everyone.
Hi everyone.
I've spoken to Badger, my layout guru, and he expects to finished with H&B by late September. As soon as he sends me the finished PDF I'll be going through it with a fine toothed comb for about 3 days. Then it goes off to Mike Mason at Chaosium so they can OK the book. If there are any amendments needed, such as new formatting, or any other change they need then we action that. If not, then the PDF goes out to everyone and two weeks later we will release it to the general public. The day the PDF goes out and the distribution works ok* then we'll send the PDF for proof for all the various editions. Once we get those back and they look good and were printed without error, then we start sending out the books themselves.
As for time frame? I'm hoping, optimistically, that it'll be the end of September but Badger's work, Mike's checking, and DTRPG's printing is out of my hands so it might be mid October by the time the printed copies start heading out.
Getting printed proofs from DTRPG/Lightning Source will be the longest part of this wait. They can take a long time to do any work.
*We've had a few problems with DTRPG lately. This includes copies of The Things We Leave Behind disappearing en route to backers of the Fear's Sharp Little Needles Kickstarter, failure to order print copies at DTRPG, and their website having errors.
